Remember when you were watching Saving Private Ryan for the first time, and about midway through that opening battle scene you turned your buddy Jon and asked, “Was World War II really this long?”

Ends up it was (right again, Jon!), and Feral Interactive has just made it a bit longer with the release of two new expansions for Company of Heroes 2 for Mac and Linux: Ardennes Assault and The British Forces.

Ardennes Assault is a single player expansion that sees U.S. forces battling through western Europe.

Lead the US Army in 18 dynamic scenarios, take on missions in any order you choose, and devise your own strategy for defeating the battle-hardened Oberkommando West.

The British Forces is a multiplayer expansion featuring—you guessed it—soldiers of the British Commonwealth fighting their way across northwest Europe in the aftermath of the D-Day landings.

The British Forces features eight new multiplayer maps, a powerful selection of Commanders, armor and aircraft, and a cleverly structured tech tree that enables you to specialize in defense or attack, tailoring your army to the battlefield situation as it unfolds.

Both Ardennes Assault and The British Forces are available as standalone games on Steam or as in-app purchases through Company of Heroes 2 on the Mac App Store.
