Plants vs. Zombies 2 try to love one another right now
Love is in the air, and what better way to experience it than with a 13-day Valentine mega-event in Plants vs. Zombies 2? Chocolate covered strawberries? Jewelry? A little stuffed bear-type-thing? Forget it. What lovers young and old really need is the new Blooming Heart, a plant that catapults heart-shaped projectiles that cause increasing zombie damage with each hit.
The event—dubbed Valenbrainz—also comes with six Valentine-themed zombies, collectible Valenbrainz-themed costumes, 11 new Valentine-themed levels, and the ability to receive higher coin rewards.
But that’s not all:
In addition to the Valenbrainz event, Plants vs. Zombies 2 will release the content update, Modern Day Part 2 on February 16, where Dr. Zomboss brings the combined forces of all of his armies across time with him! Go back to the beginning with new levels and new plants including the Premium Plant, Escape Root, an armed trap plant that can switch places with other plants; and when threatened, can substitute itself with an explosive plant like Potatomine or Cherry Bomb.
The Modern Day Part 2 content update also features:
- Grimrose, a plant that slinks into the shadows and appear underneath its target, and Dusk-lobber, a plant that shoots projectiles into multiple lanes.
- The return of All-Star Zombie, a zombie heavily armored thanks to his football gear who can rush down lanes at a fast pace, and Super-Fan Imp, an explosive zombie that can damage nearby plants.
- Collectible costumes.
- 16 new Modern Day Part Two-themed levels.
