Plants vs. Zombies 2 gets Jurassic Marsh content update

Remember when you were watching Jurassic World and you started thinking, “I don’t get it…why aren’t the plants trying to stop this thing?”

Well, they’re now about to, as Plants vs. Zombies 2 Jurassic Marsh Part One is now available in the Apple App Store.

Plants vs. Zombies 2: Jurassic Marsh

The prehistoric-themed content update contains new plants and—for the first time in PvZ 2 history—three new dinosaurs, including a Stegosaurus with the ability to catapult zombies into adjacent lanes, because the Stegosaurus is the coolest of all the dinosaurs no matter what Steven Spielberg and Michael Chrichton had to say on the matter.

Your full feature update includes:

  • Three new dinosaurs: Raptor, Stegosaurus and Pterodactyl.
  • Four new plants: Primal Pea Shooter, Perfume-Shroom, Primal Walnut and the Premium Plant, Grapeshot (a plant that scatters bouncing projectiles, damaging zombies across the board).
  • 7 new fully-themed costumed zombies.
  • 16 levels, including a themed Gargantuar Battle.

Of course, what fun would all of this be without a special 12-day worldwide event? Starting tomorrow, players will find autumn-themed plant and zombie costumes as well as two Special Edition Premium Plants: Sweet Potato (a plant that forces zombies to switch lanes) and Dandelion (which can fire down multiple rows).

Grab PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies 2 now and get ready to let those zombies know just who the alpha is.
