GRID Autosport for iOS gets the green flag
Feral Interactive love themselves some racing games, and that’s always been good news for the Mac gamers who love themselves some racing games. Now, the publisher has announced that the AAA racing game GRID Autosport will be released on iPhone and iPad in spring 2017.
And before the naysayers even have a chance to open their mouth, you should know that GRID Autosport for iOS is not a dumbed-down version of the game; it will comprise the complete game and all of its add-on content, including 80 of “the world’s most exciting cars ” and an immense amount of track content featuring over 100 routes spread over 22 international locations. Five disciplines are covered: Touring Cars, Endurance, Drift, Open-Wheel and Street Races.
And before the naysayers even have a chance to open their mouth, you should know that GRID Autosport for iOS will launch as a premium paid game for a one-time purchase of $10/€10/£10. In other words, no in-app transactions to unlock new cars or buy your way to the top of the pole…or whatever they call it. My racing vernacular is not very good.
GRID Autosport will be available this spring, hopefully with Apple TV support, as racing games are a perfect match and tend to look great on the big screen. You can sign up for announcements at store.feralinteractive.com, and check out the Mac version in the Mac App Store.
